I recently cam into possession of a VAIO VGN-NR160E that has been shipped with windows Vista. I have not been convinced that it is the right time for me to begin using this OS so I’d like to replace it with windows XP. During the install however windows was unable to detect my Hard Disk Drive (Hitachi HTS541616J9SA00). I used a utility named Driver Genius to load the driver onto a floppy disk (backuplog.txt, disk.inf, disk.sys, driver.nfo) and tried the install again.
The message i got was file txtsetup.oem could not be found. I already tried Hitatchi’s website to no avail. Any tips?
