I can maybe get 50 Hitachi 73Gig hard drives free, but the interface is listed as FC (fiber channel).
Does the FC interface on these drives exist as part of the drive caddy/carrier, or is the main printed circuit board of the drive an actual FC interface?
I am hoping that these are SCSI drives with a FC daughter-board.

Someone mentioned that these drive might be worthless due to ‘Locked .LOD code’….some sort of microcode unique to Hitachi SAN units???
