I have a HL-DT-ST DVDRW GWA-4164B purchased in a Packard Bell PC from PC World. The PC is now out of garantee. The burner only recognises CDs not DVDs. I’ve tried various firmware versions for this model but none seem to be the correct ones. Can anyone point me in the direction of the correct firmware please. Otherwise I’ll have to call t a day and buy yet another DVD burner.
