Home FTPing

By scoots ·
How can I setup harddrive space from my computer so I can have virtually unlimited space on the internet? I have a win98 box w/ 128MB RAM Cable modem access. I realize that up stream speed is slower.

Thanks!!!

Not easy or fun

1) Partition part of your harddrive.

2) Setup an ftp server on your machine.

3) Go to tucows and download an internet service for 98.

4) Hope your cable modem company does not catch you. They usually notice though.

Thanks for the quick reply. My cable provider sent me to no-ip.com. I don't wish to use this for commercial gain. I want to store various utilities that I have written so when I need them I got them. Having my special CD is not working.

I just setup a webpage from my harddrive with PWS. It works great. There are functions in there for FTPing. I will look at that.
