I would recommend that you use a linksys router. You can find our more information from their web site at www.linksys.com. Is there a particular reason why you want to have two different networks? With 7 computers there is no need for it.

I have a windows 2000 domain(4 computers)runing off a linksys model #Befsr41 paid 120.00 for it at bestbuy.the only thing is its only a 4 port router so you will have to hook 3 to the router and buy a hub or switch for the others.I run a switch for better performance

I've been using the Linksys Routers with built-in switches quite a bit this summer. The price has really gone now too. Last month I picked up Linksys DSL/Cable Router with 4-port switches for $69.00, and the other day I picked up the same with 8-port switch for 95.00. They are a really simplified solution for home networks, and I'm really enjoying the new lower prices.
