On my host computer in the My Networking Places, my files were deleted a while back. Now it won't let me put anything in there. I'm trying to hook up another computer to this one and it won't work. It's telling me that routing and remote access service isn't working but I think it is. I believe it's in My Networking Places that the problem is. How can I get these files back.

If the files were deleted from a remote computer through "network neighborhood"... they are gone for good. only way to recover network deleted files would be to run some form of undelete program and sift through the millions of files to find the ones you needed.

Good luck.

try running a 'Repair' installation of the operating system on the machine missing the files. This will usually reload the missing files and then you just have to reconfigure them after the NIC is located and set up.
