Home Networking

On my host computer in the My Networking Places, my files were deleted a while back. Now it won’t let me put anything in there. I’m trying to hook up another computer to this one and it won’t work. It’s telling me that routing and remote access service isn’t working but I think it is. I believe it’s in My Networking Places that the problem is. How can I get these files back.
