Home Page/Site Security Certificate

by fonaset . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

I am runing win2000 professional with internet explorer 6.0. When I want to open some url address, it gives me the following messages “Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site?s security certificate.

1.The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority.

2.The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

3.The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

4.Do you want to proceed? Yes. N0. Details.

In this case, some url like “http://www.genie.co.uk” etc. will not accept my login password. The funniest part of it is that other computers in my house running win2000 pro/ win98is not having such problem. No. 2 options sound funny. Now how can I rectify this problems?
