A 32 Bit OS can support a 2 TB Drive certainly

by OH Smeg Moderator In reply to home server

Well XP supports one in a Antec MX1 Enclosure every day of the week here. But that Enclosure can not support anything bigger so I have no idea if it supports a 3 TB Drive.

By the same token I'm not sure that your M'Board supports a 3 TB Drive either this is determined by the Chip Set used for the SATA Controller.

Its 2 terabytes per drive, this is because of the MBR limitations.
