Home Sharing > My Partner cannot see my Shared Playlists contents
Hi All,
I would like to share my Music library and associated playlists with my partner. We both use iMacs running Catalina. All my playlists are smart playlists that are based on the “Genre” field content (e.g. “Stage & Screen > Soundtrack”).
Here is what I did to do this via Home Sharing:
1. Enabled “Home Sharing” on my own iMac (System Preferences > Sharing > Media Sharing)
2. Enabled “Home Sharing” on my partner’s iMac (System Preferences > Sharing > Media Sharing) using my Apple ID
3. My partner is able to select my library. All albums appear and can be played successfully. All smart playlists are successfully *listed* in the left sidebar
4. BUT: When my partner selects any Playlist from the left sidebar, *no song/album list* and my partner is only able to see the total number of tracks associated with the selected playlist.
Has anyone encountered this issue so far?
Thanks for your help…
