I used to have an internal website which I created a host file so that when I typed in the url it would find the correct internal ip address. I no longer have that web site internal, it is now external to my network. Even though I have deleted the host file entry and clear the history and cache from my browser, whenever I type in the url to that web site my computer still tries to go to the old internal ip address.
