there's not a lot of 'branding' you can do on a PC

you can put your logo on a wallpaper, and set the "registered to" field to include your company name, but many tech-saavy users would be likely to remove these settings....

Or depending on the M'Boards you use

by OH Smeg In reply to How can I inlude info (ma ...

You may be able to change the BIOS Screen to a Company Image & Logo.

ASUS and Gigabyte M'Boards have this possibility on some of their M'Boards.

Is that the type of thing you are asking about?

Windows 7 registry entries for OEM

by p.j.hutchison In reply to How can I inlude info (ma ...

In Windows 7, add the following registry entries:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation
HelpCustomized = DWORD:0
Logo = C:\windows\system32\oemlogo.bmp
Manufacturer = Company_name
Model = PC_Model
SupportHours = Hours
SupportPhone = PhoneNumber
SupportURL = WebPage

and place the bitmap image in the appropiate folder. Usually, OEM place them in a new folder in C:\Windows\Branding rather than the system32 folder.

OPK (OEM Pre-Installation Kit) . . .

by Who Am I Really In reply to How can I inlude info (ma ...

it's what yer supposed to do as a shop that uses OEM system builder Discs or OEM VLK installation media

http://www.microsoft.com/oem/en/training/opk/Pages/index.aspx
http://www.microsoft.com/oem/en/downloads/pages/windows_7_opk.aspx

though most small shops I know just install from the system builder disc without using the OPK
