Hi guys,

question is above! I am currently testing the new apple music and I am kinda happy about it! Problem is that I couldn't figure out a way to transfer some of the music to my ipod to listen to it offline. Thank you for any hints

General Apple problem

by doty_betty In reply to How can I listen to Apple ...

this is a general problem of Apple Music. The integration of older ipod models like ipod nano and ipod shuffle has not been established. Here is a link to an article coping with that problem http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/no-apple-music-for-the-ipod-nano-ipod-shuffle/
Apparently it is a problem related to the DRM of tracks downloaded from Apple music, because you are only allowed to rent that music and you do not actually own it. So Apple has to make sure that you can not use the songs quite as free.
The only workaround that I could imagine is to use a recording software like Audials Tunebite in order to get some truly free mp3s. But this is more a way of capturing songs via your computer and you would have to replay the full songs in order to get your results. Well you can read through it if this is any interesting for you: http://audials.com/en/how_to_record_stream_capture_music_videos_movies_from/apple_itunes.html
Despite this little problems I really like Apple Music
