How can I recover mp4 files I deleted from my recycling bin?

I was cleaning up my laptop the other day and I cleaned out my video folder by deleting a few videos I didn't need anymore. I then went and emptied the recycling bin too. The other day I then tried to find a big video mp4 file I was wanting to edit when I realised I didn't have it on my laptop anymore. I know I've accidentally deleted it from my recycling bin too.

Sadly, I know there is a slim chance I can get the file recovered but does anyone have any good advice on how I can get the file back?

recover mp4 files

Do you have a backup? If you have a backup on your laptop, you can recover your files directly. While if you do not have one, clear your Recycle Bin means your files are deleted permanently, you may need to use a data recovery software, I think the Bitwar Data Recovery is a good choice in recovering files, as it's free and has strong functions, I believe it can help you get baack your files.
Best Regards.

How can I recover mp4 files I deleted from my recycling bin?

When you deleted all the data from Recycle Bin, then the master file table reference is removed and not the data itself; therefore, it is possible to do the data recovery from empty recycle bin by implementing some manual steps or using a data recovery software like Stellar Photo Recovery, Recuva, Minitool and so on.

To easily recover data from empty recycle bin, try these methods:

One can easily recover their lost or deleted files/photos/videos from the emptied recycle bin & they don’t need to be any technical person to recover the deleted data from the recycle bin.

There are 4 methods to recover the deleted data from an empty recycle bin:

1. Restore from previous versions
2. Turn on System Protection
3. Using Windows backup
4. Using a reliable Data Recovery Software

If the above 3 methods don’t work then go for No. 4, “Using a reliable Data Recovery Software”. Now, all you need is to download a trustworthy data recovery software such as Stellar Data Recovery Premium software, run a software & scan your system. Once the scan is complete you can preview your deleted or lost data, select the files you want to recover back & click recover, now select the desired location where you want to save the file & it’s done. Your deleted or lost data is back to you.

Hope this will help.

Try recovery tool

This is a very common mistake which most of us would have done. But, at least, you have the option to restore deleted video files from Recycle Bin / Trash if you have not emptied it. However, if the .mp4 files were deleted from external hard disks, USB flash drives or memory cards, then they will bypass Recycle Bin / Trash. Under such a situation, your only option is to use a recovery tool to retrieve the deleted files.
