I’m working on a dell latitude d830 laptop. This computer has 1gb of ram. Everytime I power it on I get this message. “This computer system is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password. Please type in the system or adminstrative password and press enter.” I can’t get to setup or safe mode.
Also while this laptop is plugged into the adapter the battery light on the laptop blinks.
How can I reset this password so I can reinstall winvist? thanks.
