How can I schedule task to repair the local area connection?

Using WinXP sp3 Office 2007, Outlook tends to go offline every now and again and only works after I repair the LAN by right clicking and repairing. So I figure is their any fix for this? Or can setup a scheduled task to do this for me once a day?
