how can i set a printer for all users

i have a hp printer on the network (win2000)but i have to configure it for each user on each machine,how can i do it once for all for all the users of my domain.
all the users have the permission to print on it and it is shared.
i have wrote inthe script net use \\printservername\printer name but it didn’t work.
what should i do for this
