There are several ways to do this.

If you are sure that nobody will ever need to access your computer, you can simply DISABLE the SERVER service fron Services in Control Panel.

However, you need to consider how anti-virus updates and patches are being put on your PC. In most organisations these are pushed from a server to your PC. If you disable the server service you will need to manually COLLECT updates.

This will fix the problem

I think there is a Group Policy that you can use.

Try disabling File & Print Sharing.

File-Print Sharing

Disable File & Print Sharing. Once you do that, go to another machine and type \\yourcomputername. It should say that the network path cannot be found.

Add this registry key

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters]

"HIDDEN"=dword:00000001

Your PC will be hidden from network browsing but still accessible.
