I have an old pentium 90 pc from micron. I was having problems, so I blew away the hard drive so that I could reinstall a windows 95 system. I installed the mitsumi driver from an installation diskette. When booting the system I get the followingmessages: “ERROR: Unable to detect ATAPI CD-ROM drive” followed by “Device driver not found:’MTMIDE01” followed by “No valid CDROM device drivers selected.” My config.sys entry is:
“device=C:\mtm\mtmcdai.sys /d:mtmide01”
The autoexed entry is: “c:\mscdex.exe /d:mtmide01 /m:12”. I have tried several different addresses and IRQs in the config.sys. The cd-rom is attached as a secondary device to the hard disk.
