I’m working away from my home office in a different country for 6 months and I am using Office 2000 on my laptop. I access my home ISP using the iPASS service which means I dial a local number to logon. I’ve tried to use my normal Outlook 2000 client to send / receive Internet email and I’m having problems. Incoming mail is fine using the POP3 protocol but sent mail keeps bouncing. My ISP tells me to use his Web interface because in common with all / most ISP’s they wont allow remote access to their SMTP server. The web mail interface is clunky, doesnt all access to my Outlook message store or addresss book and wont save sent mail.
What options do I have.
