How do I change my SCSI ID?

Real qucik, I know this is a simple question, hoping someone can help me.

I have a adaptec 29320A scsi card and I would liek to know how do I change the scsi ID of a certain device. Please help asap.

Well changing the ID - is not a problem -- the question is what device are you trying to change (the ID on a Hard Drive or Tape Drive) if its a hard drive there is a jumber that you can use to set the drive from id (0 - 8 ) simply by moving the jumper. Same applies to a Scsi tape drive -- Now if its the card - that you want to change the ID on at the time you boot your system simply hit (ctrl + c) to access its' bios and you can chage the id of the card -- typicaly its set for id 7.

And if it's a Scanner there should be a switch that you can use a screwdriver to turn to a different number to change that devices setting. From memory these switches are numbered from 0 to 8 but it really depends on the scanner maker here.
