How do I change the default store for Outlook 2003?

by tbare . Updated 19 years ago

This morning, I got to the office as usual, and, as usual, the first thing I did was open Outlook to check my e-mail.

The exact opposite of usual, what I saw was my archive folder looking back at me, and, as new messages started coming in, they were being saved to my archive folder. Typically, this isn’t a problem, but I have upwards of 700 messages in my archive folder, and need to keep these.

I went to File > Data File Management, and sure enough my Personal Folder is pointed to my archive folder (which is not the default location, but rather D:\emailarchive\archive.pst).

Is there any way to change this back without having to do do a Detect and Repair to restore default settings? any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

THANKS!!
