How do I control Folder viewing in a nested folder tree

By jhussey ·
Here is my problem.

Main
--->Site1
--->Sub1
--->Site2
--->Sub2

How do I allow all users to view "Main" but on allow "user2" only the ability to browse and view "Site2" and it contents without the ability to see or browse to "Site1" and it contents.

What permissions and or shares would need to be created to make this work.

That Worked!

Thanks DugaDugDug for your help. That makes Windows shares look more like Novell. Our Novell guys are upset that I was able to make this work, but great for us NT folks.

Anyway thanks for your help.

No problem, glad to hear it worked. Thanks for taking the time to let everyone know it was what you were looking for. There is nothing worse then people taking time to try and help others out only be left to ponder "I wonder if my suggestion helped so and so with that problem..."

Cheers !
