How do I create a startup disk for Vista?

by cti4sw . Updated 16 years, 7 months ago

I just finished reading the article “10 Things You Can Do When Windows XP Won’t Boot” and I’m wondering how to create a startup disk for Vista, since floppy drives aren’t standard anymore.

Is the procedure the same (i.e. am I copying the same files) if I were to use a flash drive?

Can the flash drive have other information on it or should I make one that’s dedicated to startup files?

Assume for the situation that I do not have the original Windows disk.
