How do I export Access reports to Word BUT keep table formats and pics?

By Adrian.steller ·
I've got a sizable database in Access with about 200 reports - most of which contain formatted tables and pictures. I can run this easily from Access into a pdf but, if I want to export to Word so that people can flag edits using revision marking, the process is painful to say the least.

Is there an easier way than manually re-formatting tables and re-pasting pictures?

Alternatively, is there a way to convert a pdf to Word?

Thanks!

Use bookmarks

Adrian, to the best of my knowledge the only that you can create formatted documents in Word from Access is to use bookmarks. This is a lot of work if you have 200 reports. I would start by grouping my reports into distinct styles and then creating the most complicated Word templates for each report group. Take these templates and simplify them to create less complicated templates. The code and instructions for working with Word bookmarks is in the Access 2003 Bible. HTH.
