How do I export Outlook e-mail data?

By rouschkateer ·

I have form data coming in through Outlook e-mails off of a web page. I would like to export the body of the e-mail containing the data into an Access database for review, but I am unsure as to how to do that. I would like to NOT use Visual Basic, but rather perhaps a standard batch file or feature I may not know about. Even free third-party software would be nice.

So, I extend my hand to the knowledgeable TechRepublic people for help. Any suggestions or ideas would be of great help!

re: exporting email data....

Data inside of an email isn't exportable. Just the emails themselves, with headers and all, are exportable. Your only option there is to copy/paste data to an excel workbook and save it as CSV so you could import it into Acess.

Why don't you use the web page to capture the form fields and store that in your database, then write another page/program to extract that data. Personally, I use a 3rd party program called Ultimate Form Mail to do this.
