How do I get rid of dual boot?

By BirdieOnAWire ·
Hi, I had 2 HD's each with a different OS. The slave running winXP died so I removed it, the master HD running win98 is still in there. I would like to know how to get rid of the dual boot screen at start up. Would need to do this in win98. Thank You All!

Look for Boot.ini. You may have to change the options in Explorer to see hidden files.
Here's a relevant MS Article:

Boot from your Win 98 startup disk at the A: prompt type "sys c:", then you can delete boot.ini+ ntldr+ntdetect. The boot loader will be gone.
