I have a Lithium-Ion battery from an IBM ThinkPad 770 that is absolute toast. I know it has reached the end of its useful life, and I want to get rid of it. Does anyone know the proper way to recycle a lithium-ion battery–a contact to which I cansend it? My company is strict about the disposal of hazardous materials, so I don’t want to just throw it in the trash.
