My profile settings have me unsubscribed from all newsletters and my preferences are set to not automatically alert me to new posts. I never check the box to be alerted to new posts when I make a post. And yet lately every time I post on a discussion I start receiving update emails until I go to my profile and remove the alert that has been added.
How do I stop these alerts from being generated?
