How do I get sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe to work on 64 bit machine?

I’ve been trying to access databases on my new 64 bit machine with Windows 7 Ultimate very unsuccessfully, of course. I understand that this feature is not possible with 64 bit machines. However, I did read a post recently regarding a question from a user with the same problem. The guy who answered the question said that this person should open the file “C\windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe,” which resolve his problem. I’ve tried that, and I can see all the User DSNs, System DSN, File DSN, Drivers, etc. on my ODBC Data Source Administrator — none of which are there if I open the Data Source Administrator without exe file listed above. However, this whole thing disappears after closing the file, and I still cannot access any databases. Any suggestions? Thanks, JD.
