I just recently purchased a used Diamond Viper V770 Ultra graphics adapter. The card works fine. However, I cannot see the Turbo Gauge icon and settings when I go into the 3D folder listed under Advanced settings within Display Properties. Of course, this is with “In Control 99 Tools” installed.
I downloaded the V770_w9x_402.exe file from the Diamond support menu on Sonic Blue’s website and used that file to install the video drivers, including In Control Tools 99. I installed the video drivers after having completed fdisk and a full format on drive C.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to find a different graphics file and, if so, where?
