I hope someone has an answer to this one, Microsoft apparently doesn’t!
I had a hard drive that was in two partitions. One had win98 and the other win2000. I was checking out win2000 for my job and do not need to any longer. I then went to remove the partition and place Linux there. I successfully installed Linux but the Boot Menu still says Win2000 and Win98. I can no longer boot to 2000. I am still able to boot to win98.
I have tried going to a command prompt and typing in fdisk/ mbr. It doesn’t appear to work. I can not load Linux without the boot disk and I did install Lilo without any error messages. It appears as though there are 2 boot records? Please help.
