What errors, if any, do you get when you try to install?

Does it install but you cannot activate it?

The last time I had install issues with Adobe, they provided install support for free! It’s not cheap software and the support for installing was included.

Go to the Adobe website on safari browser click onto the Mac version of photoshop it should download & in downloads after the download has completed you should find a .dmg double click the dmg file you may have to go to file vault & unlock with your computers password you should be guided through the process & drag the photoshop file into your application folder. When you open photoshop for the first time on your machine you will be given a 30 day free trial. After that you will need to purchase a licence to continue to use the program. I wish you all the success in the future.
Simply download Photoshop from the Creative Cloud website and install it on your desktop.

Go to the Creative Cloud website, and click Download. If prompted, sign in to your Creative Cloud account.

Download Photoshop from the Creative Cloud website
If you’re using Windows, you may be prompted to save the downloaded file. If you’re using macOS, you may be prompted to allow the download to take place.

Double-click the downloaded file to begin installation.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

On successful installation, the Creative Cloud desktop app launches at the same time as Photoshop.

      This may help you,

When you start the Photoshop download, confirm the download in your browser. After downloading the Photoshop_Installer.dmg file to your Mac, click the Downloads folder on the Dock and run it. After the Installer is mounted on your system, double-click the logo to install Adobe Creative Cloud and Photoshop.

Go to Finder > Applications > Photoshop 2020 (Right click on Photoshop) > Choose Show Package Content > macOS, and then try to launch Photoshop from there.

      Resolve Installation Issue

If you’re facing issues during the installation of Adobe Photoshop on your MacBook, here are some troubleshooting steps to help you:

      Check System Requirements:

Ensure that your MacBook meets the system requirements for Adobe Photoshop. You can find this information on the official Adobe website.
      Internet Connection:

Make sure you have a stable internet connection throughout the installation process. A poor or intermittent connection can lead to installation failures.
      Clean Download:

If the download seems to be corrupted, delete the downloaded installation file and download it again from the official Adobe website.
      Disk Space:

Check if you have enough free disk space on your MacBook to accommodate the installation. Adobe Photoshop can require a significant amount of space.
      Close Background Applications:

Close any unnecessary applications running in the background during the installation. This can prevent conflicts that might interfere with the installation process.
      Run Installer as Administrator:

Right-click on the installation file and choose “Run as Administrator” to ensure that you have the necessary permissions for the installation.
      Temporary Disable Antivirus:

Temporarily disable your antivirus software during the installation process. Some antivirus programs may interfere with the installation.
      Check Installation Logs:

Look for installation logs or error messages. These logs can provide clues about what went wrong. You can usually find logs in the installation directory or in system logs.
      Download and Install Manually:

If using the Creative Cloud installer is causing issues, you can try downloading the standalone Adobe Photoshop installer from the official Adobe website and install it manually.
      Adobe Support:

If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Adobe Support. They can provide specific guidance based on your issue and system configuration.
      Restart Your MacBook:

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Close all applications, restart your MacBook, and try the installation again.
Remember to follow each step carefully, and if one solution doesn’t work, move on to the next. If the problem persists, Adobe’s support channels, including forums and customer support, are valuable resources for finding a solution tailored to your specific situation.
