How do I install secondary Mail domain?

By Kirschi ·
I have a problem with adding a secondary mail-domain to the Exchange 5.5 server. When sending an email with the new domain to the server I get the following error message:
>>"IP-address" does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 554 <recipient@new-domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied Giving up on "IP-Address".<<
The IP-Address is actually from our Linux firewall where the mails have to be sent through. I added the new-domain.com to the routing table in the IMS. Is there something I forgot?

Need more detail to be answered,
What about your MX and DNS records.
Try accessing to your IMC SMTP daemon from an internal ip in order to localize the problem. Try to en an e mail using "telnet exchsrvname 25"
(is it a firewall or exchange problem.)
Good luck
