So here’s the deal. My sister bought a computer from the flea market. It has a floppy drive, a CD-RW/DVD drive that doesn’t work, and no operating system. I am trying to install Windows XP Pro onto this computer. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried using the 6 floppy disk that I created from the Microsoft site. However, after inserting the final floppy, it asks to insert the Windows XP Pro cd into the drive. When I insert the CD and hit enter (as instructed) nothing happens. I don’t know what else to do.
