How do I maximise IE5.5 automatically?

In the aftermath of a motherboard replacement (and associated hassles) I now find clicking on a link in Outlook Express or in IE5.5 takes me to a new page sure enough, but I then have to Maximise every time. The new pages do not come up full size unless I hit the Max button. Granted stretching the size out is retained but it still isn’t full size automatically. Why????? I have tried/searched in many places. Look forward to the answer – keep up the good stuff guys.
