I am migrating from Thunderbird v3.0.11 to Outlook 2007 (XP SP3).
I have exported my Thunderbird address book to comma and tab delimited .csv and .txt files.
I believe that I have followed the instructions in Outlook 2007 for importing my .csv/.txt files but each time the import process starts it fails with the error “Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. . . .”.
This happens every time, no exceptions. Am I doing something wrong or is a registry edit required or do I need to download a hotfix from Microsoft, etc.
