How do I move my calendar from Outlook 2003 into Windows Live Mail?

By Deacq ·
I am trying to transfer my Outlook 2003 calendar from one pc to another. The destination pc has Window Live Mail? I searched on the internet and found one solution which said to export the calendar to a .ics file format first, then import the file with Windows Live Mail. I tried that, but Outlook 2003 does not have the option to convert to a .ics format. Outlook only has the option to convert to .csv format. So I convert to a .csv format anyway only to find out that Windows Live Mail does not have the capability to import .csv format.

The pc with Outlook is an XP SP3, and the pc with Window Live Mail is a Win 7 Pro platform.

I would appreciate help from anyone out there.
Thank you,

This is a bit of a work around....

I found a few pages where people said this works...

I am not sure if there is a easier way to do this but here is how they did it.
1) Export the calendar as CSV from outlook 2003
2) Import the calendar into gmail calendar
3) Export the calendar from gmail calendar to ICS format
4) Import the ICS into your Vista calendar...
