How do I recover from booting into "Last known good configuration" Win7?

Here’s the deal, I tried repairing Win7 Ultimate by going thru the Repair my Computer option from my bootable USB Flash that I created from the Original Win7 DVD… I couldn’t figure out how to repair Win7 so I rebooted my Netbook and pressed F8 in the Boot Menu… then I selected the option: “Last Known Good Configuration” (I think thats what it said)…You guys know what I mean…so… what it did is loaded a weird config of Win7… the drivers for sound, video, hard drive, WLAN were replaced by previous versions…older ones…I updated all those drivers from the HP website…and Win7 reverted to drivers prior to the update…WHY??? The big deal is this…I have Win7 Ultimate SP1… and after I booted into this config from the boot menu like I mentioned…SP1 is no longer listed ANYWHERE in my netbook… For example: In System Properties… now it just says Windows 7 Ultimate…NO SP1 anymore… I checked in Installed Updates and its there… I went to the Microsoft site and it says I don’t have SP1…when I checked the Validation tool… Also in Everest Ultimate it also says I don’t have SP1 anymore…what is going on??? Can someone explain what happened pls….??? I would really appreciate all the help u guys can provide…thx… BTW… is there any way to undo this config??? restore SP1 info and recognition on my system???
