how do I remove a user's ability to set

By symesd ·
With NT4.0 Server and Windows 2K workstations, how can I setup my roaming profile logins that already exist to disallow the user's ability to change the system date/time?

To prevent users from being able to change the system time, go in to the
Go to User Manager for Domains. Then, pull down the Policies menu and select User
Rights...Drop down the "Right:" box and select "Change the System Time"
Then, you can add and remove whichever users you want to have this right.

Hope this helps

Right answer...but turns out our issue is having to setup users as "power user group" members on the local workstations for some s/w to run...this seems to be overriding the NT rights restriction saying they can't change the system time.
