I have a pc that i need to install certain tools and and software. I need the PC to be part of the domain but i only want a few people to be able to log on to it. They need to be able to log on to other pc's as well i know that you can restrict a user to a pc, not sure how to go about doing this. can it be done?

I believe you can also edit the local "users" group to just have the users you want in that gtoup (vs default all domain users) if the system was off the domain, i would say make logins only for the users that need access.
Right. Add users, not groups. Pretty straightforward.
Of course, there is the option of one user account for which all the appropriate users know the credentials. (Assuming you don't need to log against particular users in this case, and each user does not need a separate account space.)
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
