I am not even sure if this is doable…
I have a few (4 to be exact) servers running Win Server 2003. They each have 2 disks installed (100GB and 350GB). One of the servers runs an SQL database that grows rapidly (around 30GB/month). I heard that it is possible to create one big logical volume using the disk space available on the remaining servers, i.e. span the volume across multiple servers.
Now the questions:
– is it at all possible
– if yes, can you point me to some “how-tos”
I am a complete newbie to the Win Server 2003, so I am sorry if the question is quite basic.
