this is probably a no-brainer, but i’ve noticed lately on my dial up connection that some emails apparently generate a command to activate the “connect” window, and even after i close outlook express, the “connect” dialogue box will continue to pop up, and often 6 or more times before finally halting.
anybody got any ideas, as i’ve tried all the tricks i know? oh, yeah, btw, i’m running W98SE, IE 5.x, and Outlook Express as default email, with most of the MS “upgrades” as of January 01.
