How do I transfer MSN local mail folders?

My customers hard drive recently failed. I have a backup of the drive and restored the “documents and settings’ folder and all subfolders to the new hard drive. I went through the msn mail setup and all of that is working correctly. The local mail folder “DB30” has hundreds of files in it but none show up in the MSN mail view. Is there a method to restoring these saved emails?
