I hope someone out there can help me out. I have a IBM Netfinity server 4500R. And I had setup with a RAID 5 configuration (with one drive as a hot spare). Lately, the OS on the server is not responding to any services (even just right clicking on an icon freezes up system). I’m running Windows 2000 server and I tried everything to make it work, then I tried using an ERD disk I had. I used the 4 setup disk provided and when it prompted me for the ERD disk it stated the no drives could not be detected. So I’m thinking that it’s do to the hardware base RAID. Does anyone have anyone know what to do or what I’m doing wrong?
