How do you create ad-hoc network at login in Ubuntu?

By sryan40 ·
I have recently started managing a seperate office with only two computers (both running Ubuntu 10.04) that are connected via an ad-hoc network that must be created/connected to each time a person starts up the machines for the day.
The network is set to automatically connect but as it isn't currently running on either machine at login/startup it doesn't automatically connect.
If anyone can let me know how to create it at login that would be great.

Am I missing something on this page or does this just talk about ICS? If one of these methods creates the network every time you login then thats great but I can't see which one does, if any.
