How do you edit videos on a Macbook?

I was recording videos over my vacation in Hawaii and I transferred those videos over to my Macbook. I was wondering, how do you edit videos on a Macbook? Also what software might be the best for editing the videos? If anyone has an answer please let me know.

2. iMovie by Apple.
3. Davinci Resolve at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/davinci-resolve/id571213070?mt=12 is free.

These are the titles I know others use. Don’t even think about the malware laden Cap-cut-titles.
