I know there must be a couple of thousand posts on this. I bought a Gateway floor model at a good price last week. It has Vista Home Premium pre-loaded. I hate it. I want to get rid of Vista and go back to XP, but I’ve heard there are some manual procedures to follow before this can be done. Can anyone point me to a step-by-step process for doing this? Evidently it’s not as simple as reformatting the hard drive.
