How do you restart a computer w/telnet?

Does anybody know how to shutdown and restart a remote 2000 Windows machine using telnet? What do you enter from the command line prompt of the other PC?

using telnet,i dont know
but you can do this using computer management.
1:-open computer managment
2:right click COMPUTER MANAGEMENT(LOCAL)
3:choose CONNECT TO ANOTHER COMPUTER
4:choose your victim's computer from list
5:after connected,right click COMPUTER MANAGEMENT again,choose PROPERTIES
6:choose ADVANCED tab
7:choose STARTUP AND RECOVERY
8:click on SHUTDOWN
9:-a menu will appear,you can shutdown,restart,log off the remote computer

windows 2000 resource kit has a command line utility called shutdown.exe. You can use it over the telnet session.
