How do you run msconfig in Windows 2000?

By lisav ·
In Windows 98, you can run msconfig to control which items you want to startup when windows boots. How do you do that in Windows 2000?

There is a file w2k_msconfig.zip that is msconfig.exe application and msconfig.chm help file. Sorry I do not remember where I got it, but I use it all the time. If you cannot find it, let me know and I will e-mail it to you.

Windows 2000 does not come with msconfig.

You can either use a 3rd party utility such as xsetup, or you can copy msconfig from a W98 or Me machine and port it over to your W2K PC.
