Staying informed.

by baketown83 In reply to How do you stay informed ...

Wow, I can really relate to this discussion. Well, being that I am a rookie in the IT world I definetly have got to stay informed. I found out about TR from my friend who is a Techie and pretty well expierenced. I came to the site and I was stund with all the useful information I have been reading about for the past three days. (Did I mention really new to TR) Anyways TR is a great resource for me. I also use TechWorld.com It is similar to TR. I have signed up for a few updates to be sent to me from TR. Also I have alot of friends who have been dealing with computers since the late 80's..... Uh oh yeah I am only 22 and my friends around the same, but my point was that they have been dealing with computers since the green screen, big floppy disk days. I got into computers for a minute during the era of Win 95, then I slacked off and for the past few years I have recently got back into the IT world and have been knee deep ever since. By the way can anyone reccomend any other resources that are good for a person like me? Thanks.
